MENTORING AT SIGNATURE PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIOS One-on-one training opportunities for aspiring photographers.
Option #1 - Natural Lighting. We'll stay out of the studio for this one and use the natural light in areas of our home and outdoors as we work with you to learn to identify the 'good spots' for taking photos. You'll be able to take this training home and apply it at your next session! $60. One 90 minute session. Please bring your equipment and a model, age 10 and up.
Option #2 - In the Studio - Try our studio set-up and learn just enough about professional lighting to be dangerous...we'll take the fear out of taking the next step to this level. It's waaaay easier than you think!

MENTORING AT YOUR HOME One-on-one training opportunities for aspiring photographers.
Is your home your studio? Let us come over and show you where to find the best light, how to hang a backdrop, and point out fantastic places for pictures you never knew you had! We have seventeen years of experience in "making what you've got work for you!"
$150. 90 minutes. Please provide a model (age 10 and up.) We'll use both your equipment and our equipment in your surroundings so you can see what you can do and what you can aspire to as you upgrade!

Option #1 - Watch and Learn. Observe as we conduct a photography session, then stay after the client leaves for 60 minutes of Q&A to allow us to answer your questions directly. $40. Session options: newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 1 year, toddlers, family inside, family outdoors, family on-location, extended family, high school seniors, engagement, maternity.
Option #2 - Watch and Shoot! Observe a photography session with your camera (or ours) in hand as we coach you through setting up shots and setting the camera. You'll even have the client all to yourself for a few minutes at the end. Then stay for 60 minutes after the client leaves to view, edit and talk about your images and the session. $60.
Option #3 - Weddings. Come along and watch what we do, understand why, and click a few hundred pics yourself! Meet with our image artists for two hours the week after the event to review your images and learn even more. $200
STARTING YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY BUSINESS
We've been where you are. Whether you just want to make a little money on the side doing what you love, or are ready to jump in with both feet, we can guide you. We'll get you headed in the right direction. $200 for 1/2 day hands-on training; includes follow-up phone support for 30 days. Or $40/hour consultation fee, in-person or via phone appointment.

We are delighted to make presentations to your group, organization or school. We love teaching Moms groups how to take great photos of their family, and we can help your Girl Scouts earn their photography badge. Just ask for more information!
