In today’s age of digital photography, people are ‘playing’ with their pictures more than ever.  We find our images in scrapbooks, on Facebook, in digital photo frames and on coffee mugs.  As a mother of three and a photographer, I love surrounding myself with pictures of my family – why would my clients be any different?
 
Traditional professional photographers retain the rights to the images they create for a number of reasons.  They know that what comes straight out of the camera can be improved with editing and design.  They know that printing images on the highest quality paper at a professional lab makes a difference.  They are artists, and they want only their finest work hanging in your home.  After all, it likely has their name on it.
 
But we see things differently at Signature Photography Studios.  We know, first hand, what a joy it is to play with pictures!  And that’s why we offer both a self-serve menu and a full-serve one. 

If you’re the type of person who is capable of doing your own editing and design, all you need is a photographer who can capture some great shots as a starting point, and then hand over the CD and share the rights to the images.  You’ll find that option on our self-serve menu. 

If you need a flawless 30x40 portrait to mount over the fireplace, or if you like the look of artistically enhanced images but don’t know how to do ‘all that fancy stuff’ on the computer, then you’re going to want to shop from our full-serve menu. 

We offer the best of both worlds.  We have all the same equipment as other pros.  We’ve just got a different mission in mind.
 
It’s our goal to be able to say, “Yes!  We can do that for you!” so that there is no need for you to look beyond Signature to get exactly what you envision when it comes to pictures and image products.
 
At Signature, we operate with an abundance mentality.  We trust that when we provide a genuinely positive photography experience, we will never be lacking opportunities to take pictures for people.

Barb has worked in the photography and scrapbooking industry for the past sixteen years and is the owner of Signature. They say when you can’t tell the difference between work and play you’ve found the right job.  People and pictures...this is it for Barb!
  
Melissa is a photographer and our office administrator.  She is Barb's right hand...and sometimes her left hand too! 

Rachel is a student at Davenport and a photoshop wizard!  As our lead image artist, she puts the finishing touches on our images to make them the best they can be.  

Jessica is a Ferris State graduate with a BS in Advertising.  She may be the sharpest intern on the planet.
